Mi Familia Hondureño

Hey friends!

So I've started to begin preparation for my time in Honduras. I've still got got a few more homework assignments, a book to read, and a big shopping list and the 17th is coming up quick.

My main worry is definitely the language difficulty I will encounter. I'm fairly decent at spanish when it comes to classroom work in America but quick full sentence babbling is going to be incredibly hard to comprehend. I would love some prayer for that. You can also pray for learning how to be a resident and not a tourist in my time there. Thanks.

I've recently received an e-mail regarding the family I'll be living with!! Their names are Jeaneth and Juan Ramon Murillos. They have a daughter named Ixchel who is married with 2 kids. I'm living in a building called Kennedy where apperently other Calvin students will be.

T-minus 24 days!

Your Spanish is going to become crazy! Legit, full immersion is going to be the best thing that's ever happened to your language skills. Just wait, soon you'll talk Spanish circles around me. :) No joke. It'll happen, you'll be great.
